Community Partnerships
The organizations that help our students build real-world experience, life skills, and a clear sense of what comes next.

Learning beyond the classroom
A diploma is the start, not the destination. Through our community partnerships, Dade Prep students gain access to mentors, mental-health support, financial-literacy coaching, fitness programs, and direct exposure to college, vocational, and military pathways. The organizations below help us turn classroom work into real-world momentum.
Community partners
Each of these partners brings a specific kind of support to our students — from one-on-one mentorship and youth advocacy to credit education and youth wellness.

Pathways into service
Students considering military service can connect with active recruiters from every U.S. service branch and learn what each pathway looks like — eligibility, training, benefits, and life after service.

Higher education and vocational partners
Beyond community organizations, our students access college and career pathways through:
- Miami Dade College — dual enrollment, advising, and on-campus exposure through our Cap Corner program.
- Miami Barber Institute — a vocational pathway into licensed barbering and salon entrepreneurship.
- Florida Technical College — technical and trade career paths.
- SportsEdTV — sports media and career exposure for student-athletes.
Building real-world skills
Through these partnerships, students develop the kinds of skills that don’t always show up on a transcript:
- Financial literacy and credit fundamentals
- Communication and conflict resolution
- Time management and personal accountability
- Mental wellness and self-advocacy
- Career readiness and professional networking
