College Assistance Program
One-on-one advising, dual enrollment, and a clear path to what comes next.

Your bridge to what comes next
The College Assistance Program (CAP) at Dade Prep Academy is designed to help students navigate the college exploration and application process with clarity and confidence. Our advising team works one-on-one with students to plan a path that fits their goals — whether that’s a four-year university, a community college, a vocational program, or the workforce.
What CAP offers
- Personalized guidance on college admissions
- Financial aid counseling
- Identification of scholarship opportunities
- Post-secondary advisory support
Our goal is to empower and equip every student with the tools and knowledge they need to successfully embark on their journey toward higher education.
Dual Enrollment with Miami Dade College
Through our partnership with Miami Dade College, eligible students can earn high school and college credits at the same time.
Standard Dual Enrollment
- Minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA
- College readiness demonstrated through placement testing
- Maintain a minimum “C” in any college course taken
COLLEGE CONNECT pathway
For students whose GPA falls below the standard threshold, the COLLEGE CONNECT pathway offers an alternative entry point:
- Available at a 2.5 GPA
- Up to 12 college credits while still in high school
- Same maintenance requirement (minimum “C”) once enrolled
