The CAP Advisor is committed to offering tailored support to empower students as they navigate this critical phase in their academic careers.
Dual Enrollment
Our high school proudly offers an exciting dual enrollment program in partnership with Miami-Dade College, giving ambitious students a head starts on their college journey. This program lets eligible students earn both high school and college credits simultaneously, potentially saving thousands in future college costs. To qualify, students need a minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA and must demonstrate college readiness through placement tests. We’ve also introduced the COLLEGE CONNECT pathway, which allows students with a 2.5 GPA to take up to 12 credits while working toward full college readiness. Students must maintain good academic standing—earning at least a “C” in college courses and keeping their high school GPA at 3.0—to continue in the program. Each course is carefully selected with guidance from school counselors to ensure it aligns with high school graduation requirements. For middle school students who show exceptional promise, the program is also available with additional requirements, including passing all three sections of the college placement exam.
